Matt Brown - Owner/Instructor

Matthew Brown was selected in the 13th round of the 2007 MLB draft by the Cleveland Indians after his junior year at Wichita State University. He debuted with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers of the New York-Penn League in 2007 hitting .250 in 63 games with 14 doubles, 3 triples, and 31 RBI's. With the Lake County Captains in 2008 Brown was again an impact player and finished 6th in the low-A Midwest League with a .308 average. He also led the Cleveland Indians minor league system in average and 3rd in RBI's, including 26 doubles, 8 homeruns, and 75 RBI's in 122 games. In 2009 he was promoted to the class high-A Kinston Indians of the Carolina League where he earned Player of the Week honors after opening the season 16-for-35 and posting a .457 avg. He finished the year hitting .273 with 9 doubles, a homerun, and 25 RBI's after missing more than half the season due to an injury. Brown retired in 2011 after his second season with the Traverse City Beach Bums of the Frontier League. Brown was Selected to play in the 2011 Frontier League All-Star Game, starting in center field. During the first half of his 2011 season, Brown compiled a 21-game hit streak, during which he hit .361. Brown finished the season by leading the team in average, hitting .299, playing in 86 games with 335 plate appearances. He posted a perfect fielding percentage of .1000. Brown was born and raised in Oklahoma and continues to call it home. He founded Stewards of Baseball in 2008 with the Expansions of Stewards Sports Edmond in 2015 and Stewards Sports Guthrie in 2021! Brown shares his faith and dreams with his wife Tessa, daughter Lola, and son London. 

Bobby Greb - Instructor

Bobby Greb joined the Stewards Sports team in 2020 with a strong commitment to developing and enhancing both talent and love of the game. Bobby is lead of the Armored Up Academy and our tech programs that are used during player development, rehab and player analysis with Rapsodo and WinReality. Bobby gives lessons in Pitching, Hitting and Fielding. Most days you can find Coach Bobby sporting his Atlanta Braves gear and talking stats, trades and all things baseball!!

Garrett Crone - Instructor

Garrett started his time at Stewards as a student of the game under Coach Matt. Garrett graduated from Edmond North in 2018 and was recruited to further his baseball career at NOC, Tonkawa. Garrett is a student athlete graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Garrett was the Assistant Coach to Warriors Baseball 18u Showcase team in 2021 and has since moved into the Head Coaching position to both the Warriors Baseball 18u Team and Warriors Baseball 11u Teams! Garrett is our lead catching instructor and also gives lessons in hitting and fielding! 

Ben MacNaughton - Instructor

Ben is the newest member of the Stewards Instructor list but has been part of the Stewards family for many years! Ben has been a student of Stewards and in the last several years a big part of our Camp/Clinic Staff. Ben Graduated from Edmond North and went on to further his Baseball career at Lamar University in Texas. Ben played in 134 career games earning 120 starts ... Hit .283 (136-481) with 18 doubles, six triples, 45 RBIs, 81 runs scored, 42 walks and was 48-of-59 (.814) on stolen base attempts ... Recorded 37 multi-hit games at Lamar. Ben has also joined the Warriors Coaching staff and been the Assistant 18u Showcase coach this Summer. Ben is the owner of BootLegger Balls and enjoys spending his free time with friends and family on the courses.  We are excited to welcome Ben to our team and see our players develop with his coaching through hitting and fielding!

Karrah Dean - Instructor

Karrah has played travel softball since eight years old, mostly playing with the Oklahoma Athletics and training with EXOS college prep courses. After Graduating from Guthrie HS she went on to play Division 2 college softball at Oklahoma Christian University and Southern Nazarene University. She has coached at the junior college level at Rose State College and recently moved to 5A Guthrie High School this past year to coach our Guthrie girls! Karrah is our lead Softball Pitching instructor and also gives instruction in hitting, fielding and catching.

Jackie Robinson - Pitching Instructor

Jackie graduated from Edmond North High School in 2019, where he was recruited as a two-way player. He chose to attend NOC Tonkawa to refine his skills. Jackie continued his baseball career as a pitcher at the University of Louisiana Monroe and Austin Peay State University, competing for three years at the Division I level. Jackie then went on to play in the MLB Draft League. With this experience he wants to share his knowledge and teach the next level not just about baseball but about Jesus Christ as well.
